Donovan is probably one of our most thoughtful and caring employees not only to guests but to every person he associates with, including his fellow co-workers. For Mother’s Day this year, Donovan spent his own money and purchased flowers for every female employee in the hotel. Everyone was absolutely beaming that day! Almost every day that Donovan works, a guest either comes to my office or the front desk eager to tell me how amazing Donovan was with their child or their family, and how helpful he has been in breakfast. Usually they are laughing and can’t get over how funny and kind he was. He’s notorious for singing to the guests, especially if it’s a special occasion. You can always hear laughter down the hall coming from Donovan and guests as they interact. Without fail, Donovan is always thinking of other people first before himself. He truly embodies Hamptonality.
