Melanie Murdock, General Manager

Melanie Murdock grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho. After high school, she moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where she began her first job in the hospitality industry at the Inn at Jackson Hole, located in Teton Village. She graduated with an Associate Degree from Ricks College and had the opportunity to participate in the Brigham Young University London England Travel Abroad program. After attending the University of Utah and moving to San Diego, California for a few months, Melanie found her way back to Idaho Falls to be closer to family.

She has been working for InnTrusted since 1997, starting at the Hampton Inn. She loved working at the front desk, learning the operations of a hotel, and connecting with the guests.” Melanie left briefly to work for Northwest Airlines as a flight attendant. She traveled the world, met new people every day, and stayed in many amazing hotels. When InnTrusted built the Holiday Inn Express in 2000, she was offered the position of Director of Sales for both the Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express. Because of her hard work and dedication to guests and employees, Melanie soon became the Assistant General Manager and in 2005, the General Manager.
