Chris Walters, General Manager

Chris Walters was born and raised in Missoula, MT.  Chris started his career at the Red Lion Edgewater Hotel as Front Desk Agent, just after graduating High School, in 1993, where he was enrolled at the University of Montana. Shortly thereafter, his career began, becoming the General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn – Rio Rancho in 2000. From there he was provided the opportunity to hone his skills and manage properties within the brands of Hilton, Marriott, Starwood and Intercontinental Hotels Group. Big and small, as far south as Albuquerque and Los Angeles to as far east as Virginia Beach where he was the General Manager of the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel. In 2005, he had the opportunity to return home to Montana and continue doing what he loves to do. In 2008 he opened the Hilton Garden Inn – Billings and shortly thereafter continued the opening of the Hilton Garden Inn – Kalispell.
