Congrats to our July Employee of the Month! We are excited to introduce Janet Earnest! Here are some reason’s why her general manager nominated her:

Janet is the best of the best and my right hand at the hotel. She has been a part of the InnTrusted family since May 2001, when she worked at the Holiday Inn Express and our Hampton Inn At the Mall. Janet has been a part of the Candlewood Suites team since we opened and she has helped build this award winning hotel, and this award winning team.

In 2010, Janet won the award from the Candlewood Suites and Intercontinental Hotels Group as the Executive Housekeeper of the Year. Additionally, the Candlewood Suites Idaho Falls has won the IHG Torch Bearer award every year they have been opened. Cleanliness and service are the top brand standards and Janet delivers those!

She takes great pride in the hotel and in her team and leads by example. She teaches her housekeepers that they own their work and should take pride in everything they do. She has built a great team and always has the highest expectations for the work her department performs. Not only does she lead a great team, but she always has a smile on her face and an amazing attitude.

We recently had a guest stay with us for six months who need help walking his dogs because of his disability. Janet went above and beyond to make sure this guest always had what he needed. She accommodates our construction crews sleeping schedules and always makes sure each guest knows they are appreciated!

There are many more reasons why she was nominated, but the best reason of all is that she treats everyone like family.
