We are excited to announce our August Employee of the Month, Yolanda Flores from the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Here are some reasons why she was nominated!

Yolanda is amazing and has been here at the La Quinta Inn & Suites for 10 years. She works miracles back in housekeeping and always maintains a smile on her face. On a daily basis, she checks rooms, cleans rooms, does laundry, and still manages to do all the little extra things we ask of her and her staff. She carries the staff and works so hard and so efficiently that we have an ongoing average of 39 minutes a room.  Her staff looks up to her. She is everyone’s “favorite voice on the walkie talkie”. She always sounds peppy and never lets a bad day get her down!  She is wonder woman!

She has always given us her all, never complaining and even when she is sick or tired, she has a smile and says things like, “I have lots to be thankful for”, or “oh well, it’s not worth complaining about.”  She leads a great example to her staff, making it difficult to argue doing extra things, because Yolanda always goes above and beyond, It’s a contagious behavior for our staff . We all love and adore her. She deserves to be recognized for her continued hard work and great attitude!’
