A huge Congrats to Michael Clark, the April InnTrusted Employee of the Month! We really appreciate all your hard work and your efforts in fulfilling our Mission Statement and making a difference to your fellow employees, and to our guests! Mike works at the Hampton Inn Idaho Falls/Airport in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Here are some reasons Mike was nominated:

  • Instinctively people know that Mike cares about them, and that his caring is genuine.
  • Mike is acutely aware that other people are looking at him, and are affected by him. So he pays attention to his appearance, his demeanor, and how he “shows up” to work.
  • Mike wants to know what the guest needs. There is a regular guest; in particular the wife of one of our Hilton Honors Diamond Members, that loves chocolate bars. Mike will drive to the store to get her favorite chocolate bar and have it ready for them at check-in.
  • His sincerity is evident as you see him converse with every guest who walks by.
  • Mike loves to shuttle guests to the airport so that he can have a captive audience to find out how their stay was and try one last time to make sure they have had the best possible stay ever. Another one of our repeat customers like’s to plug his truck in when it gets cold at night so he doesn’t have to deal with trying to cold start his diesel engine. Mike makes sure he knows when this guest arrives and has an extension cord waiting for him.
  • Mike tries to go above and beyond for each guest he interacts with. Our airline crews loves him. He knows them each by name and goes out of his way to get to know each of them personally. One of them was retiring a few months back so Mike on his own time went and got a going away gift.
  • Mike is a true asset to this hotel and is a big part of the reason why so many of our customers have become repeat customers.
    Everyone on our team loves to work with Mike because he love to make people smile.
