Grant Dahlstrom, General Manager
Grant is a 29 year hotel management veteran, starting his career at the front desk at The Best Western CottonTree Inn in his hometown of Pocatello, Idaho. After a very short time he was promoted to Sales, Assistant General Manager, and soon after that, General Manager staying at the hotel for thirteen years. During his time in Pocatello, he was active in the community where he served as a volunteer for several local organizations, even serving on the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce and rising to the position of Chamber President.
With his love and passion for the industry, Grant spent time in Denver working at the largest convention hotel in the city, the Adam’s Mark (now the Sheraton) with 1225 rooms and 133,000 sq ft of meeting space. Additionally, Grant spent time managing the Nauvoo Family Inn & Suites, which was, at that time managed by InnTrusted. He was involved in Nauvoo city Council, local Chamber of Commerce, and the Hotel Association.
Grant started managing the Country Inn & Suites in 2004. He has experienced great success in increasing total revenues, including ADR, Revpar, and Occupancy. The hotel frequently leads in his competitive market group. He has lead a complete hotel remodel and in 2012, Grant was named the “Manager of the Year” for all Country Inn & Suites hotels.
